Various Water Treatment Processes
- Screen, mixing tank, settling tank, pressurized flotation, connection tank, UV contact tank, mixing tank, filtration, GAC, membrane, ozone generator, black box
- Belt press, concentrator, dehydrator, gravity concentrator
- Influent, effluent, sludge, flow divider, arrow, text
Various Water Quality Simulations
Based on the US EPA WTP 1.2 model, WaterFlow simulates more than 45 different water quality parameters, including organic matter, pH and alkalinity. The US EPA WTP model was developed for the US Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) by the Drinking Water Optimization Lab at the University of Colorado.
Equation Editor for User Customization
Users have the option to edit various formulas used in water treatment process simulation.
- Disinfectant degradation, Chlorite, Chlorate, THMs, HAAs evaluation function
- Process specific turbidity, TOC, UV254, Bromide, 4 user-defined variables (2 dissolved, 2 particulate)
- Provide tools for inputting independent variables (inflow and outflow water quality, process status, etc.)
- Memo function for formulas in each process
- Alarm display when an error occurs
Simulate Chemicals and Disinfectants Injection
It provides analysis of various chemicals and disinfectants injection amount in water treatment plants. You can optimize the injection amount of chemicals and disinfectants when designing and operating water treatment plants.
- Chemicals : KMnO4, H2SO4, NaOH, Ca(OH)2, Na2CO3, CO2, NH3, Alum, FeCl3, SO2, PAC, H2SiF6, FeSO4, FeCl2
- Disinfectant : Cl2, NH2Cl, NaOCl, ClO2
- Simulation of residual disinfectant concentration, disinfection capacity (Ct), inactivation rate, and disinfection by-products (DBPs) following a disinfectant injection
